Sudanese filmmaker, photographer, and multidisciplinary artist lives in Rwanda; her migration, displacement and cultural identity research emphasizes women's narratives and social change. She directed, wrote, photographed, managed productions, and directed art for international festivals, institutions & organizations.

Noura’s camera captures the intimate moments of her displacement with sister Duha, as they flee war in Sudan to East Africa – a journey that reconnects them to themselves and their deceased parents.

How do children experience migration and integration today? What does friendship mean in the new country? What gives them courage? War, persecution, poverty, drought. The causes of flight are numerous and man-made.
